You're not handing anything over¶
- It only searches TCLP's own reviewed content. It doesn't write or generate legal text — everything it gives you is a real clause, guide, or definition someone at TCLP has already checked.
- It's read-only. It can't change, delete, or add anything — not in your documents, not anywhere else.
- Nothing you type is used to train any AI model.
Connect¶
This uses MCP — an open standard that lets AI assistants like ChatGPT and Claude connect directly to other tools and data. Follow the steps for the assistant you use.

Claude¶
- 1 Go to Customise → Connectors.
- 2 Click +, then Add custom connector.
- 3 Paste in the server link above, and give it a name.
- 4 Click Add, then Connect.
ChatGPT¶
Needs a paid ChatGPT plan
There's one extra, one-time setup step compared with Claude.
- 1 In Settings → Apps → Advanced Settings, turn on Developer Mode. This is a one-time setup step, not a sign this tool isn't for you (OpenAI requires it for any custom connector).
- 2 Add a custom connector using the same server link above.
