Find the right clause without leaving ChatGPT or Claude

Ask a question in plain English and get back The Chancery Lane Project's reviewed clauses, guides and definitions — no extra apps, no new logins.

Connect it now

Try it yourself

Type this into ChatGPT or Claude once you've connected (see below):

What does TCLP have on deforestation?

You'll get back a real clause you can use straight away — the Deforestation and Land Use Change Clause and Questionnaire — alongside a practical guide, Ensure Deforestation-Free Supply Chains, and a plain-English definition of Carbon Sequestration, so you can see how the ideas connect.

You're not handing anything over

  • It only searches TCLP's own reviewed content. It doesn't write or generate legal text — everything it gives you is a real clause, guide, or definition someone at TCLP has already checked.
  • It's read-only. It can't change, delete, or add anything — not in your documents, not anywhere else.
  • Nothing you type is used to train any AI model.

Connect

This uses MCP — an open standard that lets AI assistants like ChatGPT and Claude connect directly to other tools and data. Follow the steps for the assistant you use.

ChatGPT

Needs a paid ChatGPT plan

There's one extra, one-time setup step compared with Claude.

  1. 1 In Settings → Apps → Advanced Settings, turn on Developer Mode. This is a one-time setup step, not a sign this tool isn't for you (OpenAI requires it for any custom connector).
  2. 2 Add a custom connector using the same server link above.
